Customer Coordinator

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for owners, agents, trades, and clients, addressing queries related to defects on completed and retained developments. This role requires exceptional customer service skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Handle all forms of communication and administration related to Customer Care.
  • Act as a point of contact for stakeholders with queries relating to defects.
  • Resolve validated complaints efficiently, seeking direction when necessary.
  • Ensure work carried out aligns with the purchaser’s satisfaction.
  • Coordinate appointments for Customer Care Technicians, suppliers, and subcontracted trades.
  • Update and maintain snagging/defect records daily and accurately.
  • Follow up with trades/suppliers for updates and bring persistent faults to the attention of the Construction and Technical teams.
  • Manage costs effectively while designating works.
  • Create Homeowner Guides for live developments with the assistance of the Client Relations Manager.
  • Chase up documentation from Contractors for Handover Packs and liaise with Housing Associations to meet their requirements.
  • Assist Site Teams with site completion preparations, including quality control sign-offs and snagging reports.
  • Register appliance guarantees for properties retained for rental and update utility providers with accurate meter readings.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both on the phone and face-to-face.
  • Natural problem-solving ability with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to adapt positively to change.
  • Capability to develop strong working relationships.
  • Computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
