Sales Advisor

  • Annual Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
  • Location: Office-based with on-site parking
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Customer Sales Advisor to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing sales and expanding our clients market share by engaging with existing and potential clients. This position requires providing accurate and relevant advice on products and training services, as well as efficient recording of customer information.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Regularly contact allocated accounts to generate orders and introduce new products.
  • Keep customer information up to date following interactions.
  • Proactively develop new business by contacting prospective customers.
  • Issue and follow up on quotations to negotiate sales through to conclusion.
  • Liaise with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Confirm and update customer information on database systems.
  • Continue professional development to enhance technical product knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as required within the sales team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience within an office environment preferred.
  • Confidence in communication, negotiation, and influencing others.
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of SAGE accounting and experience using a contacts database would be advantageous.
