Ideally, you will be from an Early Years background within the training & apprenticeship industry, seeking your next challenge.

The focus of the role is to manage the curriculum offer across all Early Years programmes. This will also entail mentoring and support processes within each of the programmes delivered. The Curriculum Manager will support the introduction and development of standards and associated End Point Assessment resources, ensuring that Skills Coach delivery is to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and design face to face and blended digital sequential curriculum to promote the attainment of retainable Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSB) making reasonable adjustments to meet the individual needs of learners across a wide variety of provisions (including but not restricted to: Apprenticeships, Adult learning, and short study programme).
  • To line manage the experienced Skills Teacher team to maximise the quality of delivery.
  • To monitor and maintain all delivery models in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
  • Identifying priority training needs to support current delivery, business growth and development.
  • Managing and improving the content of existing/purchased training materials.
  • Develop and deliver tailored bespoke training to customers
  • Revising and updating training programmes based on changes to Contracts/Programmes
  • Support delivery teams in implementing training programmes
  • Researching, designing and producing staff/management training materials to support the Training Calendar
  • Advising Management on opportunities to extend and co-ordinate the range of customer programmes across the business and developing new innovative programmes
  • Identifying quality resources for use within the business
  • Supporting staff to identify, work towards and obtain relevant qualifications required by Awarding Organisations and Trailblazer Groups

To be considered for this opportunity it’s expected you’ll be an experienced Early Years professional, with exposure to the Apprenticeships sector at a senior level - you’ll be used to implementing new ideas, and managing staff. Ideally, with previous handlings of OFSTED, with qualifications such as TAQA (or equivalent, D32/D33)
