The Currency Portfolio Implementation Specialist / Trader is central to the global expansion and daily management of client hedging strategies. The Implementation Specialist (IS) analyzes and monitors client portfolio exposures in relation to the current hedge positions within funds/share classes. The IS is responsible for client implementation, trade creation (rebalancing), trade execution, and managing client relationships.

What you will be responsible for
As Implementation Specialist / Trader you will:
  • Manage daily operations for hedging strategy for assigned clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy of: inbound data receipt, mandate compliance, and client reporting.
  • Order creation, pre-trade due diligence reviews, execution.
  • Contribute to complex processes and create trading plans for mergers, onboards, & terminations.
  • The PM is expected to exercise reasonable judgement in the management of the hedging program, being able to recognize possible errors in data, identify any operational risks involved, and escalate as required
  • Collaborate with IS and global trading teams located in Boston and Sydney.
  • Contribute to client Due Diligence visits, monthly service reviews, new client pitches and daily client queries.
  • Manage counterparty diversification, maximum thresholds, operational risks, and TCA analysis.

  • Prior experience in portfolio implementations, middle office, accounting or other related financial services
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail with the ability to produce under time sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a large global team

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • BS in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or other quantitative discipline
  • CFA or progress towards is a plus
