My client is an international law firm with over 50 offices in 20 countries and they are looking to recruit a Junior Crime & Regulatory Solicitor to support the additional work coming into the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Represent and advise insured and private clients primarily on regulatory matters, including CQC/Ofsted, professional discipline, licensing, and health and safety.
- Independently manage caseloads, conducting research, drafting advice, and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain client files, liaise with clients and insurers, and provide opinions on prospects of success.
- Demonstrate strong client care skills and support the regulatory team as needed.
- Ensure timely billing, financial reporting to clients and insurers, and adherence to budget and SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements set forth by Markel and the SRA.
- UK Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or F.CILEx with relevant experience.
- Exceptional client care and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, accurate case management, and superior written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate positive interaction with colleagues.
