A rare opportunity has arisen for a Criminal Litigator to join a specialist legal function in a large national statutory body on a remote basis.

It presents a great opportunity for a Criminal Litigator to be a part of a well-regarded and established team that has a wealth of expertise across all areas of the criminal justice system.
About the role
This role will give the successful Criminal Litigator the opportunity to:
- Mentor a large case management team and implement learning and development procedures;
- Measure the strength of appeals and advise clients on the probable outcome of their case;
- Draft legal documents and research criminal matters.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be a U.K qualified Solicitor, Barrister or a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), with a minimum of six months post qualification experience in criminal law.
You will also have:
- Experience of handling sensitive cases and providing clear legal advice on technical areas of law.
- Exposure to a range of criminal law matters;
- Ideally experience in L&D but this is not essential.
You will have a good eye for detail, be able to prioritise and manage a caseload, have excellent communication skills and have an analytical approach.
