My client is currently hiring a Credit Hire Litigator based in Liverpool, offering an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about their work, dedicated to providing excellent service, and achieving the best results for clients. As part of the expanding Credit Hire team, they are seeking experienced Litigation Solicitors / Fee Earners to handle a variety of Credit Hire claims.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of litigated fast track and multi-track credit hire cases under supervision.
  • Handle a mixture of liability admitted and disputed cases.
  • Ensure compliance with court directions, orders, and internal instructions.
  • Run cases efficiently with regular updates to the credit hire company.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with the hire company.
  • Work effectively with the existing team.
  • Ability to manage a case from proceedings commencement to trial.
  • Experience in using a case management and diary system.
  • Negotiate and settle cases, achieving the best outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Previous Credit Hire experience is essential.
  • Comfortable handling a full caseload of RTA claims at varying stages to conclusion.
  • Full understanding of the PI process, including costs.
  • Previous use of Proclaim is advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of case law, MOJ protocol, pre-action protocol for Personal Injury claims, and CPR.
  • Understanding and experience of key KPIs – settlements, billing, case duration, etc.
  • Committed, organized, and dedicated with the ability to cope with pressure.
  • Ability to manage own workload while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Able to handle infant approvals.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Target-driven while maintaining exceptional client care.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
