Credit Controller

Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Credit Controller to work for a large manufacturing organisation based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

Role: Credit Controller

Salary: £28,000 Per Annum

Location: Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:

• Manage Accounts Receivable
• Manage incoming payments.
• Credit Control management including blocked orders.
• Manage debt recovery of creditors.
• Managing credit limits and Credit Insurance
• A/R Reconciliation including of intercompany accounts (Quarterly IC service Invoice)
• Assist in audit / year-end financial closure.
• Participate in possible projects.
• Ad hoc & other such duties as required.

Main Objectives:

• Manage and oversee Credit Control
• Oversee Credit Insurance
• Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable incl. new accounts set up.
• Manage incoming payments.
• Provide support at month end as required.

About you:

• High level of numeracy skills and a high attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys working towards deadlines.
• Computer literate with good MS office skills
• SAP experience desirable
• Understanding of UK accounting principles including VAT

Interpersonal Skills:

• Ability to build rapport with stakeholders
• Excellent in written & oral communication

Experience:

• Previous experience within a Credit Control role.
