Are you an experienced Credit Controller who would relish the opportunity to work hybrid? I am currently recruiting for a permanent Credit Controller for a business based in Preston. The company have grown over the past few years through acquisition and they are now in a position to appoint a Credit Controller to ensure invoices are paid on time. Currently, there are some debts over 60 days old, some are larger accounts and some are smaller. It would be your job to bring this in to line and maintain the ledger going forward. Sound good?

Duties include:

  • Checking customer’s credit ratings and approving spend
  • Ensuring customers pay on time and within terms of business (All B2B)
  • Chasing payments by email and phone
  • Deal with internal queries
  • Interaction with different customers from a wide range of business sectors
  • Raise credit/ debit notes
  • Support finance team when required

Your profile:

  • Confident and clear telephone manor
  • Motivated and determined to reduce debtor days
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Good IT skills

In return:
The role is very flexible and you can make the hours work around you. The company offer a salary of up to £27,000 and 25 days holiday + bank holidays. Free parking is available onsite. You will be joining a dynamic business who are growing rapidly, now is a great time to join!
