Credit Controller

RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic well established manufacturing company in Northwich who are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their accounts department. You will join a small finance team and report back to the Finance Manager.

The Role

• Oversee and manage the companies credit control processes
• Opening and maintaining new customer accounts
• Setting and monitoring credit limits
• Conducting credit checks
• Raising credit notes, evaluating and processing requests
• Debt chasing and following up on overdue accounts and past invoices
• Applying customer payment onto the accounting software
• Maintaining customer relationships through a high standard of service

The Person

• Experienced within a business to business credit control role
• AAT part or fully qualified would be an advantage
• At least 2 years experience as a credit controller in an accounts/finance office is essential
• Strong and confident in customer service over the phone and email
