Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a high-growth manufacturing business, based in Blackburn, in their search for an experienced and proactive Credit Controller to join their current finance function.

This business has witnessed significant growth in recent years and have attracted a best-in-class finance team under an established FD. Therefore, an ability to demonstrate a keen level of enthusiasm and a desire to succeed and input ideas for improvement is imperative for this role.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Chasing overdue invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Working closely to resolve customer queries and problematic accounts
  • Building positive working relations with key accounts
  • Opening new accounts for customers, performing credit checks and terms reviews
  • Manage accounts inbox.
  • Monthly Debtor reviews
  • Escalating bad debt to legal process
  • Daily credit limit reviews
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Previous experience of working as a Credit Controller
  • Able to effectively input ideas for process improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time-keeping skills
  • Good IT and MS Excel skills
  • Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult situations
