Page Personnel are partnering with a successful business looking for a Credit Controller to join their accountancy team on a full time temporary basis.

Client Details

Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are base din Southampton and do require travel to their offices.

Description

As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Chasing outstanding debts via telephone and email.
  • Allocating payments and reconciling client accounts.
  • Processing and creating letters and monthly statements.
  • Liaising internally/externally and resolving outstanding queries.
  • Working to strict monthly collection targets.
  • Accessing Credit limits and obtaining management accounts.
  • Contacting clients by telephone to collect outstanding monies.
  • Investigating non-payment of invoices.
  • Credit checking client.
  • Resolving client queries and raising credit notes.
  • Maintaining client information.

Profile

To be successful for the Credit Controller position, you must:

  • Experience working in Accountancy/Finance / Credit Control department.
  • Confident and with excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement.
  • AAT/ATT or Degree in Accountancy.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Works well in a small team as well as independently.
  • Excellent multi-tasking ability.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Offer

Salary £26,000 - £28,000 FTE
