Reed Accountancy are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join an established client in the Crawley area. This role is office-based and offers the opportunity to be part of a successful team. The ideal candidate will ideally have a proven track record in credit control, with the ability to handle high-volume work in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Identifying potential bad debts and communicating these to the Credit Manager.
  • Chasing debt across midsize to high-end accounts.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts within the organisation.
  • Escalating issues within key accounts to the Credit Manager as needed.
  • Updating and maintaining customer ledgers with accuracy.
  • Analysing credit reports and providing feedback to the Credit Manager.
  • Engaging in high volume telephone and email debt chasing to ensure timely payments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ideally 3 years’ experience working within Credit Control although will also consider entry level.
  • A confident personality that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage high-volume credit control, handle pressure, and allocate time effectively.
  • Intermediate Excel skills to manage and analyse data efficiently.
