BTG is currently working with a modern and growing manufacturing  organisation based in Grantham to come in and take ownership of their credit control function.

Our client is looking for a highly organised and resilient individual with excellent attention to detail to manage the sales ledger within a busy finance department.

If you are passionate about the impact of a strong Finance team, and hold a desire to develop professionally with a growing organisation, we’d really like to hear from you

Responsibilities:
  • Processing sales and commercial invoices, and raising proformas
  • Allocating cash to customer accounts
  • Posting receipts to customers and assisting with bank reconciliations
  • Communicating with customers on payment and payment issues
  • Liaising with sites on customer credit issues
  • Setting up customer accounts and credit terms
  • Producing monthly statements
  • Other ad hoc office duties
The successful candidate will have:
  • Have experience in Credit Control in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Display extensive attention to detail with vast time management abilities
  • Have good IT skills and sufficient knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with Sage and customer payment portals would be an advantage
