Watford (Hybrid working - 3 days in office)
£30,000 - £35,000 plus attractive monthly bonus (up to £500 per month)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Controller to join our clients team and take ownership of maintaining a portfolio of corporate customers. Your Responsibilities:

* Manage invoice queries for your portfolio, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for speedy resolutions.
* Proactively contact corporate customers through various channels to chase aged debt and meet set call and DSO targets.
* Utilise Excel daily for generating statements and reports, ensuring accurate data analysis.
* Collaborate with line managers to reconcile complex customer accounts and find efficient solutions.
* Suggest changes and improvements to existing procedures, driving positive changes within the team.
* Maintain excellent communication and negotiation skills to provide a top-notch customer experience.

Your Skills & Experience:

* Over 2 years of experience in credit control, demonstrating proficiency in handling credit-related responsibilities.
* A track record of working towards and achieving set targets, showcasing your dedication and results-oriented approach.
* Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* Experience in handling debt collection conversations with customers, displaying tact and diplomacy.
* A self-motivated and proactive attitude, along with excellent prioritisation skills to efficiently manage your workload.
* Confidence in proposing changes and improvements, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement.
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills, allowing you to analyse financial data and communicate effectively.
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP's, for accurate data analysis.
