Credit Controller (property)
Based: London
Salary: £30-£32K

Role profile:
To endure the timely collection of outstanding rent, rates and service charge debt for a portfolio of clients on behalf of a property management company.

Duties:

  • Collection of outstanding monies due, including rent and service charges from occupiers in accordance with Client targets
  • Working with the Client Leads to understand and work towards the client’s arrears strategy, meeting service delivery expectations as well as the enforcement of any litigation
  • Build relationship mitigating disputes and actively lowering aged debt.
  • Monitoring and reporting of all arrears and payment plans in accordance with internal policies and Client requirements to ensure the ability to enforce any debt delinquency
  • Compile and Aged Debts and Collection Performance reports in accordance with our and Client requirements
  • Working with the Cashiering team to identify occupier income and unallocated cash items
  • Maintain accurate records including the Property Management Systems
  • Monitoring statutory and internal compliance

Requirements:

  • Prior Credit Control experience ideally in a commercial or residential background
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • The ability to work in a team and individually
  • Able to build rapport quickly.
