Our client is seeking a Senior Credit Controller with a very strong, resilient character This is a full-time, 12-month contract position requiring an individual with a robust credit control background. This is a fully remote position, you must live within the UK and be available to start in the next 4 weeks.

Client Details

Our client is a large, reputable business services provider, operating across multiple sectors, particularly within construction.

Description

  • Managing the timely collection of all debts and customer payments.
  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
  • Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems.
  • Taking legal action where necessary and knowledge of litigation processes
  • Providing accounts information to internal departments.
  • Managing sales ledger.
  • Performing account reconciliations.
  • Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Knowledge of credit control procedures and principles, at least 3 years experience
  • A very resilient personality, with a sunny nature, lots of energy and never give up attitude
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
  • Strong numeracy and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
