Credit Control Manager

SF are working with a fantastic organisation based in Tamworth who are looking to recruit a Credit Control Manager to oversee their operations across the UK & Ireland. In a busy head office environment, reporting into the Finance Director, the successful candidate will lead and manage a friendly Credit department of 5. Managing the Credit Control, AR & risk functions.
Your new role
- Reviewing Credit applications, making commercial decisions on limits and payment terms
- Overseeing accurate and timely invoicing to customers
- Setting and monitoring KPIs for the team
- Managing and developing a team of 5
- Weekly and monthly reports to board level on bad debts, cash forecasting and ad hoc KPIs
- Continuous process improvement, looking at policies and procedures to maximise cash and minimise risk
- Working with 3rd party Credit Insurance, solicitors and debt recovery partners
- Creating strong relationships internally with sales, operations and the wider finance division to ensure any queries or escalations are dealt with promptly and resolved for the customers.
- Dealing with internal and external Audits.
What you'll need
- Previous experience managing the Credit Function
- 5+ years experience in a B2B Credit department
- Strong Excel skill (Vlookups & Pivot tables)
- Strong communication and business partnering skills
- Innovative and interested in implementing new ideas
