Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of credit controllers, ensuring prompt and accurate collection of outstanding debts.
• Develop and implement robust credit control procedures to mitigate financial risks and improve cash flow management.
• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by evaluating credit applications.
• Proactively monitor debtor accounts and take appropriate actions to recover overdue payments in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes effectively.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and provide insightful analysis on credit control performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Essential: Previous experience in managing a credit control team within the FMCG industry.
• Thorough understanding of credit control principles, methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in people management within Credit, fostering and maintaining a positive working environment.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting techniques.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is desirable.
