Credit Control Manager
Your new company
A fast-growth Retail SME is currently at around £200m turnover and are looking to appoint a Head of Credit Control as soon as possible.
The business expects to grow again to £350m in the next 5 years and as part of their organic growth strategy, the Finance Director is keen to ensure the finance functions are in keeping with the company\'s plans.
Your new role
Reporting to the Group FD you will be responsible for:
- Head the credit control team and provide support and training.
- Train the Credit Control team abroad
- Check customer credit ratings/credit insurance.
- Produce a weekly aged debtor report.
- Agree KPI\'s and report on a weekly basis.
- Liaise with invoice finance companies.
- Ensure correct paperwork is submitted in a timely manner.
- Escalate issues to account managers.
- Review any changes to credit insurance.
- Have a succession plan to train someone as your understudy.
What you'll need to succeed
- You must have Credit Management experience, including managing a team.
- A recognised credit management qualification would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven track record in a similar role.
