Credit/Billings Manager

Global Technology Organisation require a Collections/Billings Manager to oversee an established team of 10

Reporting to the CFO, the man purpose of the role it to optimise the billing to cash cycle, accelerating the cash generation from revenue and debt recovery.

Key duties include:

* Developing processes to ensure that all revenue is billed, reducing the volume of back-billings or corrections
* Addressing the root cause of revenue corrections and reducing the volume of back-dated credits
* Pro-actively address system short-comings to promote the automation of billing task and controls to increase accuracy
* Completing the process of unifying billings under one team, for the entire business
* Maintains and leads the billings calls to smooth the monthly billings process
* Implements the process to extend the visibility of the billing and collections forecasts
* First point of escalation for the billings and collections queries
* Pushing collections performance to achieve the DSO and aging targets
* Completes the implementation of the aged debtors report and supports the improvement of the collections forecast
* Driving the resolution of long overdue debt
* Fosters a culture of collaboration among a unified team (billings, collections) and with key stakeholders (project team, contracts team, Group Controller)
* Driving the organisational decisions related to the team supervised.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience

* 3 year billings and/or collections management experience
* Strong commercial acumen
* Excellent analytical skills
* Credibility and confidence to deal with senior management and a large team
* Proficient in excel and finance systems
