Credit Administrator

  • Job Type: Temporary (3 months with a possible extension)
  • Location: Redhill, near the train station
  • Hourly rate: £14.08 PAYE per hour or £17.38 per hour via an umbrella company.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week, 100% office based.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Credit Administrator to join a busy Credit Control team until the end of July, with the possibility of extending the role beyond this. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills (pivot tables and lookups) who has experience in, or is looking to develop a career in, credit control.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Utilising intermediate Excel functions, including pivot tables and lookup formulas, to manage and organise data effectively.
  • Assisting the Credit Control team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
  • Potential future responsibilities include making credit collection calls and taking on more credit control duties.
  • Collaborating with team members to identify and implement process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create pivot tables and use lookup functions.
  • Previous experience in a credit control team is advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
