The Role: As a Mental Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in our mission to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop personalized care plans, and provide therapeutic interventions. Your expertise and compassion will be instrumental in helping individuals navigate their mental health journey with dignity and resilience.

Here are the key details:

  • Job Title: Mental Health Practitioner Band 6
  • Location: West London
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Schedule: 9-5 Monday to Friday Service
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Rate of pay: £28-£30 p/h umbrella days
  • Must holder a Valid Full UK Drivers License

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including counseling, medication management, and health education.
  • Offer emotional support and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to quality mental health services.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and progress.

Qualifications:

    • Current and valid registration with the NMC.
    • Proven experience within a community mental health team. 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
    • Members of staff should be a driver and have Crisis Team or Psych Liaison experience.
