Cover Supervisor

Holden Knight Education are recruiting for cover supervisors to provide support to classrooms across Blackpool during the absence of the Teacher.

This Cover Supervisor role will include both day to day and fixed term cover to a number of schools across Blackpool with day to day and week long supply available immediately

Ideally the right candidate will have experience as a cover supervisor or relatable roles and be consistent and reliable.

Candidates will be required to have an Enhanced DBS on the update service.

Cover Supervisor in Blackpool Responsibilities:

• Classroom Management: Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Implement Lesson Plans: Follow provided lesson plans and ensure their smooth execution, maintaining a conducive learning environment.
• Maintain Discipline: Enforce school policies and rules, managing student behaviour effectively.
• Assist Students: Support students with their work, answer questions, and provide guidance as needed during the lesson.
• Manage Resources: Ensure proper utilization of teaching materials, equipment, and resources within the classroom.
• Report Writing: Document any incidents or noteworthy activities during the class and report back to the appropriate teacher or school staff.
• Supervise Breaks: Oversee students during break times, ensuring a safe and controlled environment.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with teaching staff and school administration regarding any issues or developments in the classroom.
• Flexibility: Be adaptable to cover various subjects and year groups as needed.
