Cover Supervisor

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Are you passionate about education and looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in young people's lives? We are currently seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our Oldham school.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of regular teaching staff. You will supervise students across various subjects and year groups, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment during teacher absences. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to gain valuable experience in education or pursue a career in teaching.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of regular teaching staff.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.

Maintain discipline and uphold school policies and procedures.

Support students' learning by providing assistance and guidance as needed.

Liaise effectively with teaching staff and school leadership to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.

Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.

Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Salary: £95-£105 per day.
