Exciting Opportunity: Become a Cover Supervisor in Plymouth!

Do you have experience as a teaching assistant? Are you looking to progress your career in education? Are you passionate about supporting student's learning journeys and making a positive impact in the classroom? If so, we're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors in Plymouth. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the classroom while supporting teachers and students in their day-to-day activities.

Some Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for students.
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and activities provided by classroom teachers.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote participation during lessons.
  • Provide support and assistance to students as needed, answering questions and clarifying instructions to facilitate learning.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a classroom, either as a cover supervisor or as a teaching assistant!
  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skill, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced educational environment.
