Link3 Recruitment are seeking enthusiastic, eager and passionate people looking to impact the education of secondary school children as a Cover Supervisor. You would be working in one of our Secondary Schools located within Derby.

Job Details:

This Cover Supervisor role is flexible and can be full or part-time starting on temporary basis, with the potential of progressing to a permanent position within the school.

We require eager and passionate educators to play a role as Cover Supervisor that will innovate and raise standards as well as attainment. A good sense of humour, the ability to relate and effectively communicate with young people are essential.

To be successful for this Cover Supervisor position, you will:

  • Very strong English speaking and comprehension skills.
  • Have some understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and confidence standing in front of a class.
  • Have a passion for working with young people.
  • Provide a safe and healthy environment following safeguarding procedures.
  • Innovative and resourceful teaching methods.

Essential Requirements:

As a minimum, all applicants must have:

  • Strong English speaking and listening skills.
  • A positive approach to child development, managing behaviourand be passionate about your area of expertise which is evident in your teaching.
  • Applicants will be subject to pre-employment checks and should hold current DBS check registered to the update service.
