Cover Supervisor

Engage Education, a prominent educational staffing agency, is seeking dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our team in Guildford. This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in the education system, ensuring that students' learning progresses seamlessly in the absence of regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cover Supervisor with Engage Education, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and managing a classroom of students in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Delivering pre-set lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Managing student behaviour and fostering a productive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assisting students with their work and providing support as needed.
  • Reporting back on the day's activities and student progress to the school.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to different subjects and age groups.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
