Cover Supervisor

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join a school in Basingstoke, where you will be working with an experienced and supportive team, covering a range of subjects and classes on a full time basis - this is a great opportunities for a Graduate or someone with experience working in an Education environment.

School is a maintained community special school for pupils aged between 10 and 16 who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school serves a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including; Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC); Attention Deficit, (Hyperactivity) Disorder AD(H)D; Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN); Opposition Defiance Disorder (ODD) and Attachment/Conduct disorders.

• Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temp to Perm
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - GBP120 a day
• Hours - 8:30 am - 15.30pm

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• Degree (not essential but preferable)
• Minimum 1 year experience working with young people
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can offer this if not)

Eligibility

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
