We are looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining continuity in the classroom during the absence of regular teachers. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse student needs, managing classroom behaviour, and providing feedback on student progress.
Day to Day of the Role:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in secondary education, ensuring curriculum coverage and continuity of learning.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and individual student needs.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and conducive learning environment.
• Provide valuable feedback on student progress to permanent teaching staff.
• Show flexibility and adaptability in different school environments, embracing the variety that comes with the role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience in a similar role or familiarity with diverse student needs is advantageous.
• Creativity in lesson delivery to engage students of all abilities.
• Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage classroom dynamics.
• A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
