Salary: £25,119 - £26,421 (pro rata)

This secondary school is seeking a dedicated Study Supervisor (Cover Supervisor) to join their successful and friendly team. The role is crucial in maintaining continuity of learning during class teacher absence. Day-to-day of the role:

• Supervising classes and ensuring a constructive learning environment during teacher absence.
• Adapting to varying subjects and year groups, maintaining the school’s standard of discipline and behaviour.
• Encouraging students to engage with the set work and assisting them where necessary.
• Managing classroom resources and ensuring the classroom is left in good order at the end of the session.
• Liaising with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication regarding class activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to different classes and subject matters.
• Enjoy working with young people and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Previous experience in an educational establishment is desirable but not essential.
• A proactive approach to managing classroom activities and student engagement.
