Horizon Teachers is currently working with a secondary school to fill the vacancy of a Cover Supervisor in the London borough of Harrow. This is a long-term position to start ASAP all the way to the end of the academic year. The reason this role has come about is due to previous Cover Supervisors progressing onto doing their PGCE.

The role of a Graduate Cover Supervisor:

To supervise classes in the absence of the subject teacher
To liaise with the appropriate staff about the work that has been set
To provide the students with clear instructions relating to the work that has been set
To provide support in other areas of the school when no cover is required
Must have strong classroom or behavioural management skills
