Day to Day of the role:

  • Step into different classrooms, ensuring educational continuity during teacher absences.
  • Engage with students to facilitate the completion of set work for the day.
  • Adapt to the unique school environments and uphold their behavioural standards.
  • Quickly build rapport with students and staff, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a constructive learning environment.
  • Be ready to learn and teach new subjects, demonstrating versatility and enthusiasm.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A basic understanding of secondary education .
  • A genuine passion for teaching and dedication to delivering high-quality education.
  • Robust behaviour management skills, coupled with patience and resilience.
  • The ability to adapt to varying school policies and meet the needs of students.
  • Familiarity with school attendance systems such as SIMS, Class Charts, and Konexions is advantageous.
  • An understanding of Ofsted reports to set and maintain appropriate behaviour expectations.
