Horizon Teachers are excited to offer an excellent opportunity to work in a secondary school based in Rainhill as a Cover Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of English language and literature with the confidence to teach at KS3 and KS4 level. Preferably you will have some experience within the secondary school setting, able to manage behaviour of large classrooms, and lead a class of students. You must want to enhance student's education, innovate and inspire students, and work closely with your colleagues. Our school is offering continued development for their staff, a wide range of learning resources and the chance to join a great team. This role is a short-term position starting in January with the potential to go long-term.
The role
• Teach English at KS3- KS5 level with a good knowledge of the subject.
• Help students prepare for their exams.
• Inspire, innovate and motivate students enhanced their education.
• Report to senior members of staff.
• Provide a clear and strong understanding of English Language and Literature.
