Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor required in Burton-upon-Trent

Pay: £84 - £99 per day

Day to Day. Short term and Temporary positions available

The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with John Taylor Multi-Academy-Trust and are looking to find experienced and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join their schools on a day-to-day, short-term and temporary basis. John Taylor MAT are a trust consisting of 19 schools in and around the Burton-On-Trent location. They are a mixture of primary and secondary schools with a supply need across all.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to gain experience in a secondary school prior to taking up teaching as a career as it will give you excellent experience with classroom management and in developing relationships with students. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure pupils are engaged in lessons and are completing their work as necessary
• Manage pupils’ behaviour and ensure they are displaying appropriate behaviour
• Ensure pupils safety both in and out of the classroom
• Record and report any incidents that may take place

Requirements

• Previous experience in an education or childcare role is essential
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references and cover the last 2 years of employment
