Location: Cavan

Remuneration: €27,000 - €35,000 + Discretionary bonus

The role of the Counter Sales - Plumbing & Heating Products will involve:

• Counter Sales position selling a distributed range of plumbing & bathroom products such as: baths, showers, sanitaryware, radiators, water heaters, pipes, fittings etc.
• Predominately selling to plumbing contractors, housebuilders & retail end users
• Serving customers on the trade counter, taking orders and processing them
• You’ll also be required to support with warehouse duties and responsibilities

• Picking orders, stacking shelves and assisting with loading/unloading deliveries
• Assisting with stock levels, ensuring the trade counter is always fully stocked
• Providing excellent customer service
• Upselling and cross selling where possible

• Order values can range anywhere from €20 - €10,000

The ideal applicant will be a Counter Sales - Plumbing & Heating Products with:

• Must have experience with plumbing & heating and/or bathroom products
• Must have experience in a customer facing role
• Experience working in sales or on a trade counter highly beneficial
• Would consider someone from a builders merchant
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Confident dealing with and liaising with customers
• Full driving license, forklift licence beneficial but not essential
