Counselling Lecturer

  • Salary: £30-£40ph
  • Location: Hampshire
  • Job Type: Part-time/Hourly Paid

We have an exciting opportunity for a Counselling Lecturer . We are looking for dedicated tutors to join our successful Counselling department. The role involves teaching on a range of courses, including the Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and the BSc Counselling and Psychotherapy degree programme.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Teach on the Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling course and the BSc Counselling and Psychotherapy degree programme.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with industry practices.
  • Provide supervision and support to students in clinical practice (if applicable).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Accredited member of the BACP or working towards accreditation.
  • Completed a Level 4 and/or Level 5 Diploma or above in Counselling Qualification.
  • Ideally hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject.
  • Relevant experience of delivering Level 3 and Level 4 CPCAB accredited courses.
  • Experience of delivering at Level 5 and 6.
  • Current clinical practice with experience of supervising others is preferable.
  • Teaching qualification is ideal, or willingness to work towards one.
