What You’ll Be Doing As a Legal Cost Negotiator, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to optimize costs for our clients.

Compensation package

Hybrid working 1 day in the office, 4 days remote,Health Care Cash Plan, Holidays 25 days plus 8 bank holidays (opportunity to buy & sell 3 days) increasing to 26 after 5 years’ service and to 27 after 10 years’ service, Death In Service - after 1 year, Employer Pension Contribution, Cycle to Work Scheme, Tech Scheme, Season Ticket Loan*, Gym Flex

Here’s how you’ll make a difference:

  • Strategic Cost Management: Dive into case files, craft cost-saving strategies, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Your attention to detail matters.
  • Negotiation Wizardry: Engage in savvy negotiations, securing the best outcomes for our clients.
  • Client Liaison: Build strong relationships with our clients, keeping them informed about case progress.
  • Legal Insights: Understand the Detailed Assessment process, Cost Case Laws, and Insurance Litigation practices.

Essential Skills and Attributes Experience:

You’ve danced with costs matters or handled personal injury files. Disease cases? Even better.

  • Negotiation Skills: You know how to turn the tables and get the best deals.
  • Client-Centric Approach: You’re a pro at client liaison, ensuring their needs are met.
  • IT Savviness: Navigating software? Piece of cake.
  • Desirable Qualifications Education: Degree and/or LPC and/or ALCD.
  • Advocacy Skills: Ability to conduct your own advocacy.

The role is an agile role with 1 day per week in one of the following offices- Liverpool, Bolton or Manchester or Coventry
