Our client is an award-winning global insurance law firm with offices situated in Manchester and Liverpool. They are currently recruiting for a Costs Draftsman to be situated in either office. They are open to remote workers for the right candidate. A competitive salary is available and negotiable dependent on experience.

Your new role
This Costs Draftsman role will see you responsible for your own caseload of schedules of costs, bills of costs and negotiating costs to settlement. This role involves dealing with adverse costs claims on multi-track matters. You will be instructed to work autonomously on files from inception to completion. The costs department has extensive experience dealing with high-value cost litigation, costs budgeting, appeals, group litigation and technical changes.

What you'll need to succeed
This role is open to qualified and non-qualified costs specialists. You must have experience handling your own litigated caseload of multi-track cost claims. Previous experience drafting points of dispute is essential. You must be IT literate with a strong working knowledge of CPR and legislation. Clinical negligence costs experience is desirable.
