Corporate & Business Tax Manager

St Albans

Up to £70,000 DOE

Exciting opportunity to join a well-established Top 40 firm as a Corporate & Business Tax Manager!

In this role, you will run a diverse portfolio of compliance cases alongside the Accounts & Audit team and be involved in the management and development of staff.

What's involved?

  • Routinely liaising with clients face to face, over the phone and via email
  • Liaising with the audit team, accounts team, and clients to ensure the collation of necessary information in order to prepare the corporate and business tax returns
  • Ensuring all follow up work is completed in a timely manner following client meetings
  • Reviewing tax returns prepared by other team members
  • Monitor your own time budgets and chargeability

Required Skills/Experience

  • CTA qualified (ACA or ACCA could also be beneficial)
  • At least 5 years CT experience within an accountancy practice
  • Sound technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Managerial skills
