Corporate Tax Associate

  • Location: Guildford, GU1
  • Job Type: Full-time / Hybrid
  • Salary: £30,000-£38,000 (Depending on Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Associate to join our growing tax team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional looking to further their career in a creative, entrepreneurial, and supportive environment. You will be part of a high-performing tax compliance and advisory team, working with a diverse range of expanding and entrepreneurial companies, as well as larger corporates and international clients across various sectors.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Be a key part of the client service team, becoming a day-to-day contact for clients, engaging in regular dialogue with key client team members, and coordinating the delivery of services.
  • Maintain an understanding of the firm’s capabilities and general business and economic factors relevant to our clients.
  • Deliver a high-quality corporation tax compliance service, addressing any queries or enquiries from HMRC.
  • Provide clear, concise, and technically accurate tax advice on a range of issues relevant to client business risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to provide a comprehensive service to clients and identify tax-related risks and opportunities.
  • Continuously improve skills, knowledge, and capability to benefit clients and personal development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ATT qualified or ACA, ACCA, or CTA part-qualified.
  • Background in an Accountancy Practice with a solid understanding of corporate tax.
  • Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience using specialist tax software is advantageous.
