Corporate Tax Accountant

Our client is a multinational consumer goods corporation; specializing in a wide range of personal care and hygiene products; organized into several segments including Beauty; Grooming; Health Care; Fabric & Home Care; and Baby and Feminine care.

Based on Cobalt Park, initially in office, then 2 days a week in the office Hybrid.

Temporary contract until end of April 2025. The role will not be extended or made permanent.

Local GAAP Accountant

The Local Accounting and Direct Tax team leverages accounting, analysis, communication and stewardship skills, and partners with external and internal contacts to produce and submit financial statements and tax returns that are compliant with the local regulations for each country.
Using local financial data, we submit statistical reporting to government bodies as required by each country.

We apply specialised tax knowledge to create and submit the tax returns for each LE based on the local financial statements, providing audit support, and ensuring all direct tax payments are paid on time.

The candidate must have strong communication and customer service skills, as they will be working directly with auditors externally and a variety of internal contacts at different levels in the organisation.

Skills required for the role include:

• Knowledge of SAP and strong excel skills, ideally including Advanced Analysis.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong operational discipline to meet tight external reporting deadlines.
• Strong accounting knowledge, which they can apply to complex accounting scenarios.
• Flexible approach and agility to be able to work on multiple pieces of work to meet specific reporting
deadlines.

Strong general accounting knowledge
SAP knowledge and Experience Essential
Strong excel skills including Analysis for Office
Problem Solving

Specific qualification srequired (E.g. forklift trucklicense, driving license, CIMA etc.)

Professional accounting qualification e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CAT / AAT with relevant work experience.
