My client is a private bank involved primarily in Capital, Advisory and Wealth.

They are looking for a Corporate Solicitor to join the Wealth arm who are growing the business through acquisition. This inhouse execution legal role is a new role in the business and was created to remove the firms reliance on external law firms and will be the legal expert in all acquisitions. As the buyer, this role will hold the pen and will include handling all transactional documentation and negotiating provisions in the documentation with the other parties. The role will also carry out all due diligence in proposed acquisitions to fully understand and report around risk assessment. The role will also include taking care of the day to day legal issues of the business.

In this role, you will be involved in a wide range of corporate matters including but not limited to:

  • Corporate transactional work
  • Commercial Contracts
  • Private Company Acquisition & Disposal
  • Private equity investments
  • Shareholder Agreements
  • Joint Venture Agreements

Requirements:

  • 2 - 3 years PQUE experience UK corporate law
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions
  • Ability to work remotely and travel to London or other parts of the country for meetings as required
