This leading law firm are currently seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Managing Associate to join their dynamic team in London.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading and managing corporate transactions, providing strategic advice to clients, and contributing to the growth and development of the corporate practice.

About the Team

  • The corporate team is at the forefront of guiding clients through complex transactions and strategic business initiatives, delivering tailored solutions to meet their diverse needs.
  • They serve a diverse clientele including companies, founders, investors, and universities, guiding them through startup phases, venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, and public listings.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in diverse transactional and advisory work including M&A, private equity, fundraisings, joint ventures, and reorganizations.
  • Represent clients across various industries including mining, real estate, media, and technology.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development efforts.
  • Supervise junior team members and manage matters efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 5+ years PQE in a corporate practice at a reputable law firm.
  • Broad corporate transactional and advisory experience, including M&A and private equity.
  • Exposure to mid-market and larger deals preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
  • Experience in matter management and team supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
