This international law firm are seeking a highly motivated and talented Corporate Energy Associate with 1-2 years of experience to join a dynamic team based in London.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in corporate law and energy-related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and execution of corporate energy transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project development in the energy sector.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support the team in providing comprehensive advice to clients on various legal matters related to energy projects and transactions.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and transactional documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates to provide strategic advice to clients and participate in negotiations and due diligence processes.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in the energy sector and monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients' business operations.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a reputable US firm or Magic Circle firm, with a focus on corporate law and energy-related matters.
  • Solid understanding of energy regulations and industry practices.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct
