Corporate Commercial Solicitor

Due to succession planning our client based in Stoke is seeking to appoint a Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join its small but well-run department. This can be full or part-time and the firm will consider flexible working hours along with some form of hybrid working. 

The firm

This is a longstanding multi-site law firm in the Staffordshire area that covers all disciplines. The firm has a fantastic reputation in the market, a high staff retention rate and the ability to offer career progression right through to partnership in a short space of time. 

The role 

The firm is looking for a Corporate Commercial Solicitor to build up a caseload of corporate commercial matters working in a small team comprising of a Partner and support staff. The role would require managing your own diverse caseload of matters to include non-contentious commercial, corporate and some commercial property matters. The role has arisen due to the need for succession planning within the department. 

The person

To be considered for this role you will ideally be 8 years PQE looking for Partnership in the short to mid-term future. 

You will be local to the Stoke area and be able to have a presence in the office at least 3/4 days a week. Management experience would be advantageous. Ideally you will have a broad commercial skill set and have covered corporate, commercial and commercial property although the firm will consider somebody who has just touched upon one area.
