I am working with a UK top 50 law firm in London in their search for a Corporate Associate with 3 to 5 years PQE to join their top tier team. This role will focus on handling corporate transnational matters. With a global presence, this firm offers numerous opportunities to participate in client secondments and also placements in to other offices within the firm. Boasting an impressive clientele, including private and public companies, private equity firms, and venture capital investors, spanning across the UK and international markets this role presents the opportunity to work with some big house hold names. 

Our team:

The corporate advise corporations and institutions of all sizes, both public and private, on mergers and acquisitions, disposals, corporate finance, private equity and cross-border transactions. 
The Leeds Corporate team client regularly acts for a large number of the region’s listed companies, a substantial private equity client base and exposure to cross jurisdictional transactions. You will also support the work of other offices both overseas or UK based.

Role and key responsibilities:
  •  I am looking for a talented Senior Associate to join the team in Leeds (minimum 4 years PQE). The role will suit driven, ambitious and confident candidates with demonstrable skills within the Corporate space who also want to develop and thrive within an exciting and international focused team.
  • The role will be primarily transnational work focusing on M&A (public and private and both domestic and international) equity capital markets, private equity and reorganisations. Candidates should have a general M&A skill set - experience of cross-border transactions would be helpful but is not essential.
  • You will be required to contribute proactively and enthusiastically to business development activity with the internal and external market and you will also be expected to develop close working relationships with appropriate office contacts throughout the business both nationally and internationally.

  • Manages multiple client demands effectively, juggling various transactions concurrently while adhering to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates a commitment to excellent client care standards
  • Builds strong relationships with colleagues across different practice groups, with a preference for aiding junior colleagues
  • Possesses strong networking skills, adept at fostering and expanding client relationships
  • Displays commercial acumen and a readiness to engage in group training and knowledge-sharing initiatives
