This remarkable law firm are renowned as the leading legal advisor to technology, life sciences, and burgeoning enterprises globally.

The firm are currently seeking a UK-qualified Corporate Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' PQE to join their corporate team in London, primarily focusing on M&A transactions.

Their clientele spans the spectrum of development, from innovative startups to multibillion-dollar conglomerates, alongside the venture capital firms, private equity entities, and investment banks that support and guide them.

About You

  • Ideal candidates will possess hands-on experience in M&A transactions, encompassing the drafting of definitive transaction agreements and oversight of all other transaction-related aspects.
  • A strong inclination towards collaborative contribution within a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential.
  • The role demands outstanding academic credentials, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, also adept interpersonal abilities.

The Team

  • The team leverages international expertise to facilitate the growth of these enterprises, assisting with their inception, expansion, capital acquisition, and eventual transition through M&A, IPO, or alternative routes. This is with a specific emphasis on UK and European tech companies exploring opportunities in the US market.

Requirements:

  • Must be UK-qualified, holding or eligible for a valid Solicitors' Practicing Certificate.
  • Demonstrated 3-5 years' PQE, with a predominant focus on M&A or similar strategic transactions.
  • Possession of strong technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially astute and solution-oriented, with familiarity with market practices in the tech and venture capital sectors considered advantageous but not obligatory.
  • Knowledge of cross-border M&A and associated complexities is a bonus, though not mandatory.
