Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Tutor to provide personalised support to students in Braintree, fostering growth and learning through a nurturing approach.

As a Tutor, you will primarily focus on core subjects such as Mathematics and English, delivering tailored 1:1 lessons to address gaps in education and enhance engagement and achievement levels across KS3, KS4, or KS5. Additionally, you will be required to provide some 1:1 mentoring alongside as the students have been out of education and currently struggle with confidence.

Your role will be instrumental in shaping their academic journey, making it essential for the ideal candidate to possess a patient, motivating and empathetic demeanour.

To qualify for this role, you must:

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate, or be ready to undergo the application process
  • Supply two professional references covering the past 2 years

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant teaching or tutoring experience in the UK
  • Educational qualifications such as QTS/PGCE, Undergraduate, or Postgraduate degrees
  • Creativity, patience, and a willingness to innovate
