Cooling Technology Sales Specialist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for our client that have a head office in St Albans but offices also in the US and Europe for a Cooling Technology Sales Specialist.

Primary Role:

To drive the Executive conversation with both partners and end clients with a view to growing YoY cooling technology sales & profitability focusing on the UK & Germany. There will also be a requirement to covering other existing and future geographies worldwide, however these will be covered on an ad-hoc basis.

  • To support the sales team with opportunities by selecting the right configuration and working with the technical sales team.
  • Owning the relationship with the customer or partner.
  • Logically expand the footprint.
  • To plan and deliver the resources needed both internally and externally.
  • To convert successfully closed business to marketable case studies that we can leverage on its website and social media platforms.
  • Accurately forecast back to management and partners and up to date with pricing customer quotations when orders are placed.
  • 70% Of all your time will be in the direct engagement with new prospects unrelated to existing customers.
  • 20% Of your time should be dedicated to networking with the sales teams and prospects.
  • 10% Of your time should be to influence our GTM by working with Marketing, Partners, Engineering, and other sales team on current and future products.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Ledger - Proven track record in sales and business growth.
  • Technical - Reasonable understanding of HPC/AI technologies.
  • Experience working within a startup company.
  • Social Networking - Should have a solid base on platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in selling major manufacturers.
  • Education - University Degree preferred.
